  3. Index your CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs in moments.
  4. Create customer jewel box covers for music, software, etc.

  14. This DEMO is free to use and distribute so long as all files
  15. found in the archive are distributed with all copies.

  17. This DEMO has the following limitations: 
  18.  
  19. Indexer will only print format option #1.  But you can see and 
  20. experiment with the other 19 options.
  21.  
  22. Custom Cover Creator will only save your covers using a single
  23. filename (mydemo) and will only print that file.  But you can view
  24. all the other demo files supplied with the program.
  25.  
  26. To install from Winzip open the archive and select the INSTALL option.
  27.  
  28. To install from PKZIP copy the archive to a temporary folder, it
  29. is best to copy PKZIP to that folder.  Unpack the archive and
  30. double click on SETUP.EXE.
  31.  
  32. After installing find the CD Cover Creator in your Start Menu, run
  33. the program.  You will be presented with several options.  To run
  34. the INDEXING PROGRAM.  To run the CUSTOMER COVER CREATOR.  To run
  35. the HELP FILE BROWSER which has index links for the main features,
  36. photographics of the key components and detailed instructions for
  37. work with the program.  You can also upgrade to the full version
  38. ON LINE, just click the UPGRADE link.

  40. This program is very simple to use.  Anyone can make a professional
  41. looking cover in moments if you can import an image, enter text into
  42. a text box and select a font.
  43.  
  44. As you pass the MOUSE CURSOR over any control on the main programs 
  45. you will see a QUICK HELP line appear at the top bar tell you what
  46. the control does.
  47.  
  48. TWO INITIAL TIPS:  
  49.  
  50. If you wish to hide the main form there is a check
  51. box near the bottom that minimizes this form when your run either the
  52. INDEXING, CUSTOM COVER or HELP.
  53.  
  54. The CUSTOM COVER program has an alert box prompting you to SAVE your
  55. work.  You may defeat this if you want with another check box near
  56. the bottom right of the CUSTOM COVER form.  
  57.  
  58. If you like the program and want to upgrade to the full version 
  59. you CAN DO SO ON LINE.  Open the INSTRUCTION MANUAL, click on the
  60. UPGRADE link and then select the UPGRADE OPTION you are interested in.
  61. You will be taken to the upgrade site in the HELP browser.  Most
  62. major credit cards are accepted.

  64. The upgrade will contain JUST the new program elements, so keep the
  65. demo archive file in case you need it for future use as this file
  66. contains all the system files.

  71. Known exceptions:
  72.  
  73. This is a 32 Bit program and WILL NOT WORK on Windows 3.1 or 3.11!
  74. It is designed for Windows 98 or recent versions of NT.  It has not
  75. been tested in Windows 2000 as of this posting.

  77. One Tester using Windows 95 could not get the program to work,
  78. so it may not work under Win 95.
